Floor Warming Specifications

SmartRooms Floor Warming system is a factory fabricated electrical heating system. It consists of a high quality alloy resistance wire electrically insulated with a UL recognized TEFZEL® compound, temperature rated for 200°C. A factory made waterproof splice is used to connect each non-heating lead to the resistance wire. The complete heating element will have a stainless steel braid covering woven over the entire length. The heating element shall produce two watts per linear foot when energized on design voltage.

SmartRooms Floor Warming system is controlled by our SmartRoom Comfort Controller with a sensing device located under the floor covering and between to heating cables.

The SmartRooms Floor Warming System shall be installed according to the latest edition of the manufacturer's instructions.
